We are a community led group committed to helping shape a safer, stronger and more integrated future for Station Approach in Sheringham and the Otterndorf Green transport hub.
Working collaboratively with all stakeholders for a safer, integrated vision for Station Approach in Sheringham.
Safer streets. Stronger heritage. Better bus stops.

The Sheringham Travel & Safety Partnership has been launched to ensure the extended timeline for the Otterndorf Green transport hub project is used constructively and collaboratively.
With works now not expected to begin until Autumn 2026, this is a crucial opportunity to move away from division and towards positive, evidence based solutions focused on safety, heritage and better buses for Sheringham’s future.

We are calling on Sheringham Town Council to initiate an open steering group including representatives from North Norfolk District Council, Norfolk County Council, transport operators, North Norfolk Railway, Sheringham Travel & Safety Partnership, plus the Police, along with wider community and business representatives.
We emphasise that we are not seeking to delay progress, but to ensure that progress is properly planned and supported by evidence.

Our approach for a collaborative approach and a reset is very much supported in this recent statement issued by the Twentieth Century Society :
"The Twentieth Century Society is clear that demolishing half the shelter as has been proposed is a totally unacceptable way to treat a Non-Designated Heritage Asset (NDHA).
The campaigners' occupation last year was a clear demonstration of the strength of local feeling towards saving this humble exemplar of local heritage.
We are now urging all stakeholders to come together collaboratively at finding a sensible pragmatic solution that everyone can support. We wholeheartedly back the aims of the Sheringham Travel and Safety Partnership in achieving this goal.
Let’s get the Sheringham Shelter back in use and restored with fabulous Crittall windows, to put it well and truly back on the map !"
